Bhavesh Padiyar
Professional Profile
My interest in psychology emerged from observing how individuals think, respond, and adapt to life experiences. What began as curiosity gradually evolved into a commitment to supporting individuals in understanding themselves and improving their emotional well-being. My work is grounded in academic knowledge, clinical experience, and a belief in creating meaningful therapeutic change.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, a Master’s in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi (South Campus), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Jamia Millia Islamia. Alongside academics, I continue to engage in research and clinical practice to integrate evidence-based understanding with real-world mental health care.
My experience across hospital and rehabilitation settings includes psychological assessment, individual counseling, psychoeducation, and therapeutic group interventions for emotional, behavioral, and substance-use concerns. Currently, through my work at Well Hope and rehabilitation services, I support individuals in developing emotional regulation, self-awareness, relapse prevention skills, and healthier coping patterns.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), psychoeducation, and person-centred principles, while adapting interventions to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space that promotes resilience, personal growth, and psychological well-being.
“Mental well-being is not only about overcoming challenges—it is about developing insight, building resilience, and creating lasting change.”
