Bhavesh Padiyar
Introduction
My interest in psychology was born out of observation, the way people think,
react, and adapt has always fascinated me. What began as curiosity soon
transformed into a lifelong pursuit to understand and help others navigate
their inner world. I’ve built a foundation grounded in academic knowledge and
strengthened by real-world counseling and clinical practice. I hold a
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of
Baroda, a Master’s in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi (South
Campus), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Jamia
Millia Islamia. I am currently engaged in both research and clinical
practice, blending evidence-based interventions with empathetic counseling.
I have worked across hospital and rehabilitation settings, offering
counseling, conducting psychological assessments, and facilitating group
sessions for individuals with emotional, behavioral, and substance-use
challenges. My ongoing work at Well Hope and the rehabilitation centre
involves individual counseling, psychoeducation, and therapeutic classes
aimed at emotional regulation, relapse prevention, and social skill
enhancement.
My professional goal is to integrate research-driven and humanistic
approaches to promote mental well-being, self-awareness, and resilience in
individuals and communities.
